“ Wow wow WOW!! We stumbled across this hidden gem on our most recent visit, and I can confidently say that we WILL be back on every future trip! We had never had Salvadorian food before, and our wonderful waiter had so many amazing suggestions for us! We ended up getting four pupusas and the mixed meat tray with rice and beans. It was phenomenal! The loroco pupusa is a must-try! Everything was seasoned beautifully, and I HIGHLY recommend the shrimp as well! Everything was served hot and quick, and the atmosphere was so lively with music and beautiful artwork on the walls! Truly one of the best meals I have had in a while, and a great introduction into the world of Salvadorian food! ”

“ Next to the Rent-A-Center in a Food Lion strip mall (I drove past it the first time). Super authentic Salvadoran food with very generous portions. Pretty sure I was the only non-Spanish speaker in there. Excellent food. ”

“ Really delicious food. Everything was yummy and flavorful. We all got the pupusas. They have the one with cheese, chicharron with cheese and the revuelto which is cheese, refried beans and chicharon. We also had the horchata, which is different than the one others are used to but still yummy. We also got fried yuca and puerco. All and all would recommend and would drive back just to eat here. ”

“ This pupuseria has moved since my last remove. They now have their own location in Garden City, but the pupusas haven't changed. They don't have the variety that pupuseria Jireh offers, but these pupusas are significantly meatier. After our plans for Peruvian fell through, this was an easy backup choice. I called in for a dozen pork and cheese pupusas, plus 2 sides of sweet plantains. Everything was ready within 30 minutes. This last time their cabbage was super moist and memorable; I'm glad I asked for extra. The salsas come in mild (orange colored) and green (super spicy for me). My family went on and on raving about our meal, so it looks like we will be switching to this spot for our pupusas ”

“ Extremely authentic. Clearly, the vast majority of their customer base is Salvadoran, Mexican, or other Central Americans and the food reflects that heritage: nothing is Americanized, watered-down, or otherwise attempted towards being anything less than authentic home-cooking. My pork chops were expertly fried, not oily, not overly-dry, either. The rice and beans both were flavorful and the servings generous. The tortillas clearly home-made and as fresh as they could be. I got take-away due to the strictures of the local Covid-19 response which prohibits dining in, but everything was still hot and flavorful when I got home. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful with a bright mural of various national seals and flags running around most of the dining area with deep reds and bright rusty oranges dominating the color scheme, so it was really kind of a shame I couldn't dine in today. The staff are very friendly: it certainly helps if you speak Spanish here but if not I suspect you can probably get by. Next time I will probably get either the pork ribs in green sauce or the quali, both very authentic and somewhat uncommon (in the US) Salvadoran dishes. ”
